Wildlife Photo Gallery for the West Chilcotin
Wildlife

Wildlife in the West Chilcotin is abundant and diverse. It has some of the largest game animals in North America and
a wide variation of fur bearing animals. Here you will find Moose, Caribou, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Mountain Goat,
Mule Deer, Whitetail, Rocky Mountain Sheep, Wolves, Coyotes, Lynx, Wolverine and Cougar.
There also Martin, Mink, Beaver, Otter, Rabbit, Hare, Weasel, and many other small animals right down to tiny moles
and mice although those are not nearly as populous as they are on the Prairies and Midwest where there are grain farms.
Holding your mouse over each image will give its description, however, this only seems to work in Explorer.
