Sport Fishing

Nothing is more exciting than having one of our famous fighting native Rainbow Trout on your line! This is an angler's fishing
paradise! Our lakes are full of trout easily to six pounds, and up to ten. The Dean River is famous for its flyfishing and Nimpo
Lake hosted the World Commonwealth Flyfishing Championships in 1993. Nearby streams and lakes also offer Dolly Varden
and Cutthroat. Drop down into Tweedsmuir for some of the best salmon fishing in the world. Float the Atnarko and Bella
Coola Rivers or fly fish from shore for Steelhead, Chum, Coho, Chinook or Pink Salmon. Charter a boat in Bella Coola to go
saltwater fishing for Halibut and Salmon. Or charter a floatplane to fish a remote alpine lake you'll have all to yourself!
Holding your mouse over each image will give its description, however, this only seems to work in Explorer.
